Biography

Indian Institute of Management Indore

Vaijayanthee is a PhD in Management with a specialisation in Organisational Behaviour from Indian Institute of Technology Madras. Her PhD research has significantly contributed to the area of work-related well-being in the Police Force. Her Post-Graduation (MA Applied Psychology, South Campus) and Graduation (BA Hons., Lady Shri Ram College) degree has been in Psychology from University of Delhi. She also possesses a Diploma in Victimology and Victim Assistance Program from Tokiwa University, Japan. She has attended several national and international conferences of repute and published several research articles in indexed journals. Prior to her PhD journey, she worked as a Research Associate at O.P. Jindal Global University, where she outlined and taught courses such as Criminal Psychology and Organisational Behaviour. While a Research Associate, she was also involved in several research projects such as Police Suicide (Bureau of Police Research & Development), Road Rage (CSIR-Central Road Research Institute), and Victim Crisis Management (World Society of Victimology). She worked as a consultant with a psychometric firm, Mettl (Gurugram), where she developed an Occupational Orientation Profile (OOP) for the blue collared segment, a project for Government of Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh. She was associated with Kautilya Entrepreneurship and Management Institute, Jain University, Bangalore, as an Assistant Professor, where she developed innovative courses such as Entrepreneurial Behaviour and Stress Management & Well-being for Entrepreneurs. She looks forward to continuing research in the domain of occupational stress, well-being and explore research avenues in entrepreneurial behaviour.
