Ur Omry

Mr. Ur Omry is an independent consultant for ITS - Intelligent Transportation Systems. He also serves as the Chairman of ITS Israel, a non for profit, professional organisation that supports the ITS industry and promotes the utilization of ITS technologies and products in order to ease traffic conditions in the Country. Until 2012, Ur served as the Chief Technology Officer at Derech Eretz, a company that operates Highway 6 (Israel's 140 km free flow toll-highway). He was responsible for all technical and engineering aspects of the highway’s operation, ranging from civil engineering components to highly sophisticated electronic toll systems. Mr. Omry is the former CEO of several high-tech organisations, prior to which he served in senior financial control positions both in Israel and in the USA.
