Stanley Yao

Stanley Yao is a principal engineering manager at Microsoft Azure Identity, where he focuses on global multi-cloud strategy, service fundamentals and end user experiences. He earned his bachelor's in computer science from Nankai University in China and his master's in computer science from the University of Arizona. Since then, he has worked for companies like Amazon and Microsoft.

Through his career in the software industry, Yao has worked as a full stack software engineer, a program manager and an engineering manager. His passion for end-to-end involvement in software product development motivated him to obtain an MBA from Seattle University while working full time. Equipped with his knowledge from business school, he proposed and delivered multiple new software product and service initiatives at Microsoft, from ideation to market. Yao enjoys solving real-world problems with emerging software technologies.
