Biography

Indian Institute of Management Calcutta

I am currently in charge of delivering excellence in all aspects of Marketing - ATL, BTL and Digital at BYJU'S - India's largest Ed-tech Company. Some of the work I am particularly proud of includes working on Discovery School Super League - India's largest School level Contest and some hybrid BTL and Digital Campaigns. Before this, I have donned multiple hats at BYJU'S - have taught Chemistry & Maths on BYJU'S App, played a key role in the early years of the Sales process setup and have set up some of the backend systems that power the amazing company that is BYJU'S! You can connect with me for Expertise requests, Marketing alliance requests and any type of brainstorming related to Marketing and Product innovation across platforms.

I am also a Visiting faculty at IIM Bangalore and IIM Calcutta and have taught at many top institutes all over the country since 2011.

More about me:

Before my current stint, I have spent nearly all my career in Digital Products in a Product role - at Rediff, Shaadi and then at BYJU'S. I have considerable experience in setting up large digital products from the ground up, having had an entrepreneurial stint myself.

Shaadi.com - I was a Product Owner with People Interactive ( Shaadi.com, handling the Product side of the Payments and Sales / CRM verticals ). I worked very closely with the top management to deliver sustained and measurable results which delivered a large boost to marquee products like SelectShaadi and VIPShaadi.

Estatelister.com - I set up Estatelister.com and the vision was to create a Real estate index on the lines of Sensex. We raised a seed round and also worked closely with the Real estate sector specialists at one of the top management Institutes in the country.

Rediff.com - I started my career with Rediff.com and was instrumental in making Rediff more visible all over the Search engines, those were the early days when the term SEO wasn't even recognised as one in India.
