During her career, Sharron Davies broke 200 British swimming records. She became the youngest member of the 1976 Olympic Team, and four years later went on to win silver in the 400m individual medley in Moscow.
After retiring, Sharron made the transition to BBC commentator, covered major swimming competitions, including the Olympic and Commonwealth Games and other events. She is also an author of a fitness book, the face of Swim for Life and a patron of Disabled Sports England. Sharron has also appeared on ITV's Gladiators, The Big Breakfast and Dancing on Ice.
Sharron is an official ambassador for the London 2012 Games.
