Passion to make a wide sustained positive difference.

Over 18 years experience in innovation, business strategy, data & analytics, R&D, sustainability, and leading complex digital transformation, capital and restructuring projects (>100 mln euro) in Unilever.

More recently, led a major transformation programme for Unilever Global R&D and creating Unilever's new Global Foods Innovation Centre - Hive - in the Netherlands at Wageningen University Campus. This is one of the most advanced and sustainable innovation centres in the world - opened in 2019. Established at record time, won 2 global external awards.

Currently, responsible for Unilever’s Global Food Division Strategy, Innovation and Transformation including creation of growth strategy for >7 billion euro business, M&A, driving new business models & partnerships - reporting directly to EVP Global Foods.

Next to this, I am on a (part-time) secondment at World Economic Forum working on creation of Global Innovation Hubs & engaging private and public sector on Food System Transformation and supporting UN Food Systems Summit 2021 in partnership with WBCSD.

Multiple Board and Non-Executive Director roles at Food & Innovation related organizations.
