Berkeley Engineering Executive & Professional Education

Sajel Bellon presently serves as a faculty member at Wilfrid Laurier University & Seneca College in Ontario, Canada. At Wilfrid Laurier University, Sajel created Canada’s first Positive Psychology Certificate program for the Centre for Public Safety and Well-Being, promoting well-being to the front-line community and emergency service sectors. She has served on the Board of Directors for the Canadian Positive Psychology Association, elevating the organization’s profile with her leadership through activities such as hosting and managing the National Conference as Chair.

Sajel is currently working on several international projects in collaboration with organizations such as the David L. Coopperrider Center for Appreciative Inquiry, International Positive Education Network, and the South Australian Health and Medical Research Institute. She has worked with Canadian Government agencies in developing and delivering Well-Being curriculum and coaching clients to best prepare them for their careers and businesses. Her passion and research encompasses working with First Responders and their families around resiliency, post-traumatic growth and the promotion of mental wellness. Her credentials include a B.A. in psychology, M.A. in Management and Leadership and Ed.D. in Educational Leadership.
