Biography

The College of Business and Economics at Lehigh University

I’ve been on the inside. I spent 18 years of my career as a marketer, business leader, and an innovator – both agency and client-side. Here’s the twist …

I was a remote work pioneer for The Clorox Company. I worked remotely for 8 years while at Clorox leading large, distributed teams responsible for over $250M of sales and $25M in marketing budget, and working with up to 7 different agency partners remotely at any given time. I also participated remotely as a key member of the Leadership Team that ran a $1B division. And I co-founded a Virtual Workforce Employee Resource Group, one of the first of its kind, that grew to over 750 global members.

The way we work is changing and leaders have not yet been taught the modern leadership skills to win in today’s virtual world of work. I have experienced first-hand how hard it truly is to lead across distance, and now I am using my battle-tested strategies and tactics to teach others how to succeed in their own virtual work journey.

I have given several speeches on virtual work topics like creating a Virtual Workforce Employee Resource Group and Leading Virtual Teams. I’ve also spoken at conferences and events on marketing topics like Brand Purpose, Digital Marketing, and Influencer Marketing. In my free time I love to guest lecture at my alma mater, and other local universities, to share about my marketing and business career, and hear what the students have on their mind.
