Biography
The University of Auckland Business School
I am a Professional Teaching Fellow and PhD candidate at the University of Auckland. I am the course director for the Financial Statement Analysis module on the Masters of Professional Accounting programme and I also teach accounting subjects on executive education programmes at the University of Auckland. My research interests are Integrated Reporting, CSR and corporate governance, and I am particularly interested in addressing the gap between academics and practitioners in this field. Prior to entering academia, I worked in financial management roles for major FMCG firms in the UK, and subsequently specialised in executive education consultancy, working both in the UK and Australia. I am a Chartered Accountant and a Fellow of the ICAEW.
