Phalguna Ramaraju

Phalguna Ramaraju started his career in 1983, and has over 30 years of experience, with the last 25+ years of experience in Information Technology at various senior levels. He is a Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Certified Scrum Professional (CSP), Project Management Professional (PMP®), PMI-Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)®, SAFe Program Consultant 4.5 (SPC4.5), Accredited Kanban Trainer (AKT), and Certified Agile Leader (CAL-1)

He is passionate about promotion of Scrum and Agile awareness; worked as honorary trainer in Project Management, and served on the Board of the local PMI Chapter at Hyderabad (PMI-PCC) for two consecutive terms between 2007 & 2012; and retired as Secretary General after the end of term in March 2012. Since 2012, he started conducting detailed Scrum workshops along with (PMI-ACP)® certification training.

All his IT experience includes standard software product development, customizations and localizations using project management practices. In the year 2005 he developed interest in eXtreme Programming practices when he attempted iterative & incremental models and had seen significant improvement in results. Since 2009, he started using Scrum along with XP practices & Lean principles in developing software applications on Salesforce cloud, as well .NET based applications.

Phalguna is currently a consulting freelance Agile Coach | Scrum Coach | SAFe Coach | Kanban Coach. He coached large number of teams across the organization in helping them recognize the unique benefits of Scrum, Kanban, and used extensively scaling models like SAFe, LeSS, DAD, and scaling with pure Kanban.

He is a Bachelor of Commerce from Andhra University with specialization in Costing (1982); with a post graduate diploma in Systems Management from NIIT (1991). He is certified 'Boundary Spanner' from Baan Business IT School, The Netherlands (1996).
