Panayotis Ketikidis

Professor Ketikidis has over 30 years of experience in management, education, research, and competitive research funding with various networks established as a result of this experience. He is invited regularly as Keynote speaker in several national and international business and academic conferences.

Prof. Ketikidis is Co-Founder of the Hellenic Business Angel Network - HeBAN (2015-present); Executive Committee Board Member of EBAN - The European Trade Association for Business Angels, Seed Funds and Early Stage Market Players (2020-2022) & EBAN Chair: Advocacy, Public Policy, Research and Leadership Committee (2020-2022); Member of the Committee for Innovation, Education, Entrepreneurship 'American Hellenic Chamber of Commerce' (2014-present); Head of AREC Europe -The Advanced Resource Efficiency Centre (2014-present); Commissioner of Greece for the World Business Angels Forum (2015-2018).

Honorary Board Member of the Exporters’ Association of Northern Greece Management Board (SEVE: 2006-present); Board Member of "Alexandria Zone of Innovation" S.A. (2013-present); Board Member of "Technopolis Thessaloniki S.A." (2011-present);

Founder of ICEIRD – International Conference for Entrepreneurship Innovation and Regional Development (2008-present); Also is the Founder/President of the Triple Helix Association- Chapter of Greece (2010-current) and Emeritus President of the International Society of Logistics – Chapter Thessaloniki.

Professor Ketikidis is the Vice President for Research and Innovation of CITY College, University of York Europe Campus and Chairman of the Management Committee at the South East European Research Centre (SEERC).

Prof. KETIKIDIS is an integrationist interdisciplinarian with expertise in technology ventures, supply chain management, entrepreneurship, innovation, business angels, health informatics and strategic management of technology innovation.

He has over ninety publications in the forms of journal papers, books, edited books, edited proceedings, edited special issues, book chapters, conference papers, technical papers and reports. He is Chief Editor of the International Journal of Innovation & Regional Development (IJIRD), Associate Editor of the International Journal of Logistics Economics and Globalisation (IJLEG) and a member of organizing and scientific committees in various national /international conferences and workshops.
