Niharika Hariharan

Niharika is an Associate Partner at McKinsey Digital Labs, London. With a background in Service and User Experience Design, both in the public and private sectors, Niharika has worked in consultancies and agencies for clients like Vodafone Global, BT, Financial Times, Open University, O2, Nationwide and Fidelity, as well as in-house for Barclays & Nokia.

At McKinsey, Niharika focuses on shaping design and digital transformation programs that integrate design and innovation best practices with robust business strategy to deliver outcomes that are created for people and are profitable for the business. This effort also involves building strong teams with cognitive diversity that have the ability to combine creative thinking with business acumen, and helping businesses build internal capabilities, shift cultures, and define new ways of working. Niharika leads these programs with a focus on implementation and delivery, ensuring that the ideas can be brought to life successfully and measured for the value they add to organizations and users alike.

Niharika regularly lectures at Imperial College Business School (executive MBA programme) on Service design and speaks at international innovation and design conferences every year. In her spare time she paints, watches alternative cinema and visits museums. She has recently started collecting art and is teaching herself how to garden.
