Harvard DCE

Mohsin Habib is a Special Program Instructor in the Harvard University Division of Continuing Education, and associate professor of management at the University of Massachusetts, Boston. He received his doctorate in strategic management with an emphasis on international strategy from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. He teaches strategy, international management, and business ethics. He is involved in executive education offering seminars on strategy and has worked as a strategy consultant in the past.

His research explores the relationship between foreign direct investments (FDI), factors specific to an individual country, (for example, corruption), and the strategy of multinational corporations (MNC). The MNC's interaction with the developing and emerging countries and the different roles it plays (including social responsibility and sustainable development) constitute his broader research agenda. He has presented his findings in numerous conferences and published in reputed journals including the Strategic Management Journal, Journal of International Business Studies, Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice, and the International Business Review.
