Dr. Mehmet Chakkol is an Associate Professor of Operations Management in Warwick Business School. Prior to joining Warwick, Mehmet has worked in a multi-disciplinary EPSRC project at Cranfield School of Management where he also completed his PhD. Mehmet is currently teaching Supply Chain and Operations Management at both undergraduate and master's levels. His main research interests are within the areas of inter-organizational relationships and service operations. In particular, his research focuses on the implications of innovative business models on network structures, configurations, and relationships. In terms of future collaboration, Mehmet is interested in working with industry and academics on collaborative research projects based on a range of topics such as (including but not limited to); the implications of service business models on supply chains, sustainable supply chain management, humanitarian operations, and in general understanding operations across complex network structures. He is also interested in supervising PhD candidates in related fields.
