Maxim Ermilov

Maxim has been in strategic consulting since 1999 in Paris, London and Moscow, specializing in financial institutions and fintech. Most notably in 2006 Maxim led the project to design and launch Tinkoff Credit Systems, arguably world’s most successful digital banking startup. Since then Maxim’s vision is to help clients grow and prosper through innovation rather than applying best practices. Maxim’s moto is ‘Don’t give them slides, give them a prototype’.Specific areas of expertise include:

‍ Prior to founding Mach49 Vostok, Maxim had spent 17 years at BCG, most recently as Partner and Managing Director for the Financial Institutions sector. He then moved to GPB Digital to serve as CEO. Mr. Ermilov holds a BA from Plekhanov Academy of Economics, a BA from ESSEC, France, an MBA from INSEAD. He is also a graduate of Stanford GSB’s SEP program.Maxim is a proud father of three, a hockey player and a sports fan. In his spare time, Maxim helps development of sports in Russia, having designed marketing strategy of SKA St. Petersburg in 2014, the year SKA got its first Gagarin Cup, and National football development strategy prior to the WorldCup in Moscow.
