Matthew Sarkees

Matthew Sarkees, PhD, ’98 MBA: After graduating from Seton Hall University with a BS in Accounting, Dr. Sarkees earned his MBA from VSB in 1998 before earning his PhD in Business Administration from the University of Pittsburgh. Professionally, he has served in multiple positions including Assistant Professor, Marketing at the College of Business and Economics at West Virginia University, and most recently as an Associate Professor, Marketing & Interim Chair for St. Joseph's University’s Pharmaceutical and Healthcare Marketing Department in the Haub School of Business. Prior to his career in academia, Sarkees spent nearly eight years in management and marketing roles, including consulting positions at EY and IBM Global Services. He joins VSB’s faculty as the Marketing & Business Law department chair and associate professor.
