Bio

Kasey Meehan is a Research Associate at RFA, where she works on multiple mixed-methods projects primarily focused on postsecondary education and how statewide policies and programs are engaging equity, incentivizing institutional change, and affecting student outcomes. Over the last two years, Meehan has co-directed an examination of how outcomes-based funding policies addressed equity in six states. She is also leading research on Tennessee as a completion-focused state and the effects of Tennessee Promise on institutions and students. In addition to her postsecondary work, Meehan has also evaluated out-of-school program and teacher evaluation systems.

Before joining RFA, Kasey was a Project Director at SSRS, a survey research firm, where she led social science and opinion research projects for a variety of clients in non-profit, media, and academic sectors. Kasey has a master’s degree in Public Administration from the Fels Institute of Government at the University of Pennsylvania, and she holds a bachelor’s degree from Penn as well.
