Biography

Jenny Rodriguez is Lecturer in Employment Studies at Manchester Business School. Prior to joining Manchester, she worked at the Dept of HRM at the University of Strathclyde Business School and at Newcastle University Business School. Her research focuses on intersectional inequality in work and organisations, and the interplay between identity, work and regulation. She is particularly interested in the transnational experiences of skilled women migrants. Dr Rodriguez lectures in globalisation and employment, social diversity and employment inequality and international human resource management.

Dr Rodriguez is Associate Editor of Gender, Work and Organization, and member of the Editorial Review Board of Gender in Management: An International Journal. She is Chair of the Manchester Industrial Relations Society (MIRS) and member of the British Universities Industrial Relations Association, and the British Academy of Management, where she currently serves as the Secretary of the Gender in Management Special Interest Group. She is also a member of the ESRC Peer Review College and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
