Biography
University of Western Australia Business School
Organisational change and leadership development: not necessarily areas of business you would expect to feel passionate about, but I do.
Not simply because organisational transformation and cultural change are intellectually stimulating challenges, but because I co-create workplaces where people thrive. Partnering with you, I am able to change organisations and, crucially, people’s lives for the better.
This is the inspiration behind my consulting firm, BlueHelix.
After 30+ years immersing myself in all facets of change management – in Australia, South Africa, Canada, and the UK – BlueHelix has enabled me to crystallise and share my unique approach to from-the inside-out organisational change management, which includes:
- Strategic change/transformation
- Leadership development
- Top team alignment/ building high performance teams
- Executive/leadership coaching
- Strategic facilitation
It’s an approach that focuses squarely on the make-or-break element in every change strategy – the individuals that define an organisation’s culture and success. And it brings together my experience as a:
- Qualified business leader/manager
- “Big Four” management consultant
- Accredited professional coach
- Adjunct Lecturer, School of Psychology, UWA
- Certified cultural transformation practitioner
- Certified innovation practitioner
- Certified organisational constellation practitioner
- Fellow of Institute of Learning Practitioners
- PRINCE2 practitioner
As such, my work as a transformation consultant reconciles business strategy and psychology to provide a holistic view of – and solution to – the challenges facing organisations in transition.
Combining systemic thinking with an intuitive understanding of the leadership and human dynamics behind cultural change, I seek to narrow the gap between change strategy and execution with tailored programs that are based on the premise that meaningful, sustainable change hinges on the individual.
