Biography
CBS Executive
Jakob Kjellberg has 15 years’ experience of carrying out evaluations in the health service. The focus of these evaluations ranges from assessments of the cost efficiency of drugs – e.g. in assessment of the subsidy status in the primary sector, or of whether novel, expensive drugs should be part of standard treatment – to analyses of the consequences of settlement systems for indication changes and waiting list development.
Moreover, Jakob is course leader at KORA and is, among other things, the primary lecturer on KORA’s own courses in health economy, just as he is a much used lecturer and talk-giver on health economic topics.
Jakob has carried out a large number of assignments for, among others, the Danish health and Medicines Authority, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Finance, Danish Regions, Local Government Denmark, Danish Medical Association, Danish Confederation of Trade Unions, hospitals and the pharmaceutical industry.
