j’Amey Bevan began her term as Board Chair on May 27, 2016. She holds a Boilermaker trade certificate with an Interprovincial Standards Red Seal endorsement, an Achievement in Business Competencies Program (Blue Seal) certificate and a Masters degree in Leadership through Royal Roads University.
Ms. Bevan has worked in the industrial construction and maintenance industry for over 20 years and is the Boilermaker National Training Coordinator for Canada.
She is a Director on the Alberta Workplace Essential Skills Board (AWES), the Canadian Apprenticeship Forum Board (CAF-FCA) and Chair of the Interprovincial Alliance of Board Chairs of Canada.
Ms. Bevan recognizes that apprenticeship is the foundation on which many careers and economic stability is built, and therefore, it is there that she has chosen to direct the bulk of her passion and dedication to advocacy for continuous learning, supportive work environments and trade mastery.
