Experienced Project Finance / Oil & Gas banker now working as an independent consultant providing Project Finance Advisory services to corporates and banks; delivering Project Finance training courses; and actively seeking Non-Executive Director roles.

Currently working as a Natural Resources Consultant at ICBC London Branch, developing the bank's business in the Natural Resources sector; providing Project Finance training services, both independently and on behalf of IFF Training; and recently completed the FT's Non-Executive Director Diploma (Cohort 35).

Experience includes leading, defining and implementing an investment bank’s global strategy for the Natural Resources sector, initially for Project Finance and latterly across all Investment Banking products. This involved the definition and coordination of the bank’s global strategy for the sector, including transaction origination; structuring; client coverage; review of new business credit applications; the presentation of transactions to the bank’s Credit Committee; and optimisation the Natural Resources portfolio (c. €1.75bn) in terms of both risk and return.

Holds a BA (Hons) in Economics and an MSc in Civil Engineering, both from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne, and qualified as an Associate of both the Chartered Institute of Bankers and Association of Corporate Treasurers.
