ASPE’s Gonçalo Veiga is an experienced data analysis instructor that has the ability to impart technical skills and knowledge to people no matter their technical background. Gonçalo has a BS in Applied Psychology with a specialization in Clinical Psychology by the Instituto Superior de Psicologia Aplicada, in Lisbon, Portugal. It was in university where he honed many of the data analysis skills he teaches today. As a professional researcher, he collected and analyzed both qualitative and quantitative data from primary and secondary sources.

As an instructor for ASPE, Gonçalo teaches his students how to use clear, logical steps and excellent judgments to understand all angles of data sets before coming to any conclusions. He helps students find solutions to real-world business problems by using both specific, methodical approaches, and more creative and unconventional angles, depending on the objective.

Because data analysis skills are essential to a variety of occupations, Gonçalo has experience teaching students of varying technical knowledge. At the Department of the Interior - Geological Survey, he taught 25 students with job titles ranging from Budget Analyst and Program Analyst to Office Automation Clerk and Administrative Operations Assistant. He has also taught project managers, business analysts, marketers, accountants, developers, and more practical data analysis practices and techniques during the numerous public sessions he has instructed.
