Forrest Breyfogle is a Professional Engineer and American Society for Quality (ASQ) Fellow. He is recognized world-wide as a management thought leader.

Forrest has a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas (UT - hook'em) and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Missouri University of Science and Technology.

In 1992, he retired from IBM and founded Smarter Solutions, Inc. The company aim is to provide leading edge business solutions resulting in continuous improvements and increased profits for clients.

Forrest is an award-winning author who has written or co-authored over a dozen books including the prized Implementing Six Sigma 2nd Ed. His five-book set, Integrated Enterprise Excellence, provides management advancements in the utilization and integration of scorecards, strategic planning, and process improvement. Forrest has also been named Quality Professional of the Year by Quality Magazine.
