Nanyang Technological University Centre for Professional and Continuing Education
Dr Andy Yew is currently a research scientist with the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Singapore General Hospital. After graduating with a B.Eng (1st Class Honours) in Mechanical Engineering at University of Bradford in 2000, he obtained his PhD in Mechanical Engineering in 2004 with his study on contact mechanics and lubrication study of metal-on-metal hip implants. His research interests include biomechanics, contact mechanics, motion analyses, finite element modelling, and bioimaging.
