Moscow School of Management SKOLKOVO

Andrey Shcherbenok (PhD, Rhetoric with a Designated Emphasis in Film Studies, University of California, Berkeley; Kandidatskaya degree, Russian literature, St. Petersburg State University).

After studying physics and literature in St. Petersburg State University and defending a dissertation on deconstruction and classical Russian literature, I went to California to do a PhD in a multi- and interdisciplinary department of Rhetoric at UC Berkeley.

In 2006-2009, I was a Mellon postdoctoral fellow at the Society of Fellows in the Humanities and a lecturer at Columbia University.

In 2009-2011, I was a Newton international research fellow of the British Academy at the University of Sheffield.

Since 2012, I am a professor of practice at Moscow School of Management SKOLKOVO where I am engaged in university capacity building projects across Russia and executive education for university leaders.

In 2016, I took up the position of the founding director of the School of Advanced Studies at the University of Tyumen.
