Abhishek Kathuria

Abhishek Kathuria is an Assistant Professor of Information Systems at the Indian School of Business (ISB). His interests lie at the intersection of technology and strategy. His research examines the business value of IT, focusing on innovation, digital platform strategies, and emerging economies. His work has been published or is forthcoming in premier academic journals, and received multiple best paper nominations and awards at various academic conferences. Abhishek has taught Information Management, Technology Entrepreneurship, IT Strategy, Analytics, and System Design in BBA, MBA, and Executive MBA programs in the US, Hong Kong, China and India. He is an advisor to and co-founder of multiple startups and consults on business transformation, organizational turnarounds, and IT strategy with public and private corporations in Hong Kong, India, and the Middle East.

Prior to joining the ISB, Abhishek was an Assistant Professor of Innovation and Information Management at The University of Hong Kong. He holds a Ph.D. from the Goizueta Business School at Emory University, an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Indore, and an undergraduate degree in information technology from Delhi University.
