About the course
The issues facing public sector leaders are increasingly complex, volatile and uncertain. We are expected to be able to diagnose, analyze and design effective solutions in response to these issues. This course is intended to help you strengthen your ability to understand and manage complex problem situations and give you new ways of thinking about and approaching problem solving and decision making in your work. You will learn ways that leaders engage in problem solving and decision making, specifically around complex and dynamic issues and techniques to unpack and analyze challenging problems. The class will also engage in identifying ways to move ideas to action and strategies to strengthen problem solving and decision making skills.
