About the course

Author Stephen Covey once said that “trust is the glue of life... it’s the most essential ingredient in effective communication [and] the foundational principle that holds all relationships.” Trust is essential to a team’s ability to share ideas openly, collaborate willingly and contribute without reservation. While the link between trust and high performance is clear, distrust and disengagement are also clearly linked. How can teams address this self-perpetuating cycle which can gradually erode relationships and productivity? This program focuses on the complexities of establishing, building, maintaining and repairing trust. Through discussion, application exercises and reflection, participants will leave with tools and insight for safeguarding trust within teams.
