About the course
The St.Gallen Executive Retreat brings together CEOs and top executives from the largest firms in Europe. The Retreat will facilitate peer exchange, spark inspiration, convey new insights and create a positive impact for you and your executive committee. Together with a high-calibre Advisory Board, executive peers and academic faculty, attendees will formulate responses to their most important challenges. For example, how to cope proactively with the lasting impact of the pandemic on the world economy, industries, and people? How have the tectonic shifts affected decision making in the executive committee? What are trends, priorities and best practices that top executives should be aware of?
We invite you to experience a novel opportunity to liaise with peers in a trusted and intimate environment during the three-day physical Retreat (Fri-Sun). You will benefit from insights and experiences of the Retreat’s Advisory Board (see below), your peers from other executive committees and St.Gallen's leading academic and executive faculty. All themes will be strictly tailored to the challenges and priorities as indicated by attendees prior to the programme.
Exchange with peers on your key challenges: At the St.Gallen Executive Retreat, you will meet your peers from executive committees across Europe's largest companies to discuss, reflect on and share sensemaking of your most critical challenges. Selective admission criteria will ensure that you will meet relevant peers who can offer unique perspectives and spark new inspiration. Individual pre-programme interviews will ensure that the programme will be customised to the topics that matter most to attendees.
Faculty with executive experience: The majority of sessions at the Retreat will be led by executive faculty who have extensive experience as CEO or CXO of some of Europe's largest companies. Academic faculty will supplement with the latest and relevant insights from research.
Obtain tailored solutions that will generate a positive impact in your executive committee: A key focus of the Retreat is to bring together peers who can benefit from each other. Impact sessions will provide a structured environment for you to explore solutions to your most critical challenges with our Advisory Board members, your peers and St.Gallen's faculty.
Applicants must be a CEO or member of the corporate-level executive committee of a large European company with revenues above EUR 2 billion. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis within ten business days.
