Description

Growth through acquisitions is a key strategy of many South African and global corporates. The subsequent value creation or destruction arising from acquisitions will also be covered for performance measurement. The 2-day workshop involves delegates using and building Excel models on their laptops to enhance their knowledge and experience in analysing acquisitions.

After completing the programme, you should be able to:

  • Value a target company including any synergies;
  • Model the potential financial impact of the acquisition on the group;
  • Prepare and compile financial information required by boards of directors and/or shareholders in order to evaluate acquisitions; and
  • ​Develop techniques to identify and analyse potential value creation through mergers & acquisitions
