About the course
Discover strategies for both understanding and controlling risk. Learn the principles behind a number of risk control and management areas including: property, intellectual property, natural disaster, personnel, liability and criminal exposures. Understand techniques for monitoring and controlling various forms of loss.
- Assessing and treating risks
- Applying accident analysis and system safety techniques
- Applying root cause analysis to an organization’s production
- Processing risks and preparing an organization for disruptive events through continuity management
What to Expect
This is an interactive course; you will engage face-to-face with your class and instructor.
You will have access to our online learning management system to review, download and print course materials, connect with your classmates and instructor via the online discussion forum.
You can expect approximately three additional hours of work per week for readings, assignments, exams/quizzes and other course requirements.
