The success of your organization depends on the ability of your managers to lead teams. This program will guide them through all aspects of people management. Managers will have the chance to review their management approach, and learn how to motivate, delegate, and coach their team to success.
Have you ever wanted to go back in time to change how a situation or conversation played out? What would you do differently to create a better, more productive result? On this course, you will get to do exactly that and learn from our faculty who have mastered the art of influencing in the workplace as consultants, directors, and vice presidents—long before they became academics.
The Performance through People course will teach you how to motivate, delegate, and coach for success. You'll leave aware of your impact on others, and be able to encourage confident, effective communication in your team. Upon completion, you will:
Have a deep understanding of your own innate influencing approach
Have grasped the influencing styles of others, and understand how to adjust your approach for maximum effectiveness
Have learned how to apply these theories of persuasion and influence to real challenges you’re currently facing in the workplace

Dealing with difcult conversations and performance challenges, as well as understanding how to build and mobilize teams, and manage performance through times of change and uncertainty are essential skills for building a positive performance culture.
As a participant you will:

- Acquire the skills to build agile and highperforming teams, globally and locally
- Identify how to engage and motivate your team to achieve long-term results
- Foster the confidence and ability to coach others and handle difcult conversations with self-assurance
Your managers will develop the skills to engage and motivate, facilitate change, and build high-flying teams, and gain valuable space and opportunity to test them out before applying them back at work. Participants are immediately able to transfer the relevant skills back in the workplace and have the courage to tackle conversations they have put of or shied away from previously
Who should attend
Participants directly or indirectly responsible for managing the performance of others and delivering results through teams. They need to have the skills to contribute to the success of their team and organization, and they know that genuine engagement is the best way to create sustainable, productive working relationships. Participants will be looking to improve their proficiency to deliver feedback, handle difficult conversations, and inspire different types of team members.
