OMP is specifically designed for Chief Executive Officers and Managing Directors of their own companies and senior executives who are major equity stakeholders in medium-sized companies. This programme is ideal for Entrepreneurs who own and manage Medium-sized Companies and Founders/successors of Family business companies, with an annual turnover of more than Kshs. 5 million and operational for 5 years or more. Classes comprise between 30 and 40 participants from different industries and countries representing a wide diversity of companies, sectors and cultural backgrounds.

The modular programme format provides an opportunity for owner managers to step back from the day-to-day demands of running the businesses and reflect on how make the business work for them.

The key feature in the programme will be a joint-module in Lagos Business School (LBS). In this module, you as a participant will be able to share insights and knowledge with other entrepreneurs from Nigeria, as well as broaden your networks and identify opportunities to expand your business beyond East Africa
The Owner Manager Programme is a non-residential modular programme of four modules, each module lasts 4 days held at the Strathmore University Business School, Madaraka Campus in Nairobi with exception of the international module which lasts 5 days and is held at Lagos Business School, Nigeria. Due to the busy working schedules of participants, OMP is flexibly designed to be delivered in a multi-modular format, offering you a unique opportunity to undertake substantial learning and development that can be fitted into your professional and personal life. The OMP is designed to build your knowledge-base over a period of one year in three, 4 day modules with the international module being 5 days. It has a comprehensive curriculum which will cover key business topics as well as special areas of interest to entrepreneurs. The case methodology will be a primary tool for delivery of course material, in addition to thought-provoking lectures and enlightening group discussions. Participants are awarded a certificate upon completion of the programme.
