About the course

The successful management of transformation and innovation projects – in the context of mobility, smart cities, energy transformation and digital society, for example – requires a complex mix of project management, process design, policy planning and strategy skills, as well as an understanding of stakeholder analysis, ideation and innovation processes and change management tools.

Typically, those involved in transformation and innovation projects need to manage complex stakeholder and policy environments, as well as address a variety of technical, legal and organisational aspects that go beyond the traditional project management toolkit. The objective of this skills course is to look at the implementation challenges and practical questions surrounding these transformation processes. The course will discuss the challenges and skills required for designing and leading such projects.

Working on current transformation case studies, this course will provide participants with an overview as well as hands-on experience of relevant methodologies and tools.

This skills training is offered in the open enrolment programme and as part of the Executive MPA programme.
