About the course

Leadership Styles

Over time, all leaders develop a leadership style based on their personality, values, training, and prior experiences. This session explores how leadership styles are developed and how one’s leadership style impacts his or her success. Participants’ leadership styles are assessed with a structured instrument, as they also learn how their style may impact their effectiveness.

Emotional Intelligence

Effective leaders are adept at responding to crises, handling stress, and maintaining optimism in the face of challenges. They also are skilled at understanding the perspectives of others, building morale, and communicating with respect and empathy. This session covers the concepts of emotional intelligence as they relate to the work environment.
