About the course

This course focuses on the leadership and management of organizational change. It examines strategies and models for change during times of turmoil and during times of relative calm. The factors enhancing the probability of successful change are examined, as are the factors inhibiting successful change. The course synthesizes strategies, models, and factors of change, stressing the critical importance of moving organizations and their employees forward in a world of fast paced, dynamic change.

Course Goals

By the end of the class, students will be able to:

  • Leverage successful strategies for organizational change
  • Identify and manage the factors enabling and inhibiting organizational change
  • Utilize an appreciation of today's global, dynamic environment when leading and managing organizational change
