About the course
AN INTRODUCTION COURSE FOR FACULTY AND ADMINISTRATORS
The purpose of this course is to help business school faculty and administrators put Responsible Management Education into practice.
In the seminar attendees will discuss how to implement the philosophy of responsible management into teaching, research and administration at business schools.
Topics covered in the seminar include responsible management in the core and elective curriculum, society outreach, and inclusion of responsible management education into the university brand and related communication activities.
Who should attend
The course is aimed at dedicated business school staff responsible for reviewing existing activities as well as developing and implementing an action plan for responsible management education at their own schools. For signatories to the U.N. Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME) this would typically be the official PRME contact person. However, the program is also open to schools which have not yet signed up to PRME. The course is aimed both at schools that are just starting this process as well as those that have been driving it for years but now would like to compare notes with their peers in a dedicated environment. We recommend that participating schools send at least two participants (one faculty member and one administrator) since the practice of responsible management education requires broad interventions that draw on different competences. Furthermore, teams of participants will find it easier to implement learnings from the seminar when back on their home campus.
