About the course
This course exposes the participants to managerial decision-making and interpersonal dynamics in challenging situations. Over a period of 5 days of trekking we look at situations that require immediate responses from individuals and teams, along with the understanding of the forces at play. The expedition will be led by management teachers as well as experts who have themselves summited Mount Everest and other peaks.
The program is designed to encourage participants to push the boundaries of their self-imposed limitations with a focus on exploring and testing-
- decision making under challenging conditions
To manage strategic disruptions, managers need to respond swiftly and decisively on multiple fronts. In a rapidly changing business environment, the fortunes of a firm can collapse swiftly unless addressed expeditiously and judiciously. In this program, we explore ways of anticipating such disruptions, and become aware of our schema to make sense of data. We discuss situations where firms and individuals realigned their strategic journeys even while facing existential crises.
