People determine the success or failure of a business strategy, and formulating a HR strategy enables you to leverage the human network potential in your organization. Understanding how to effectively align people within the strategic context of your organization will strengthen the contribution of the HR function, improving both organizational culture and business performance.
The HR Strategy and Impact course provides tools and insights to enhance your strategic impact and influence, as well as your knowledge of organizational development. The course introduces a HR Strategic Impact framework and explores practical skills on the following levels:
- Strategic—developing your strategic role, impact, and influence of HR
- Tactical—enhancing the way you create ownership for initiatives with key stakeholders to impact meaningfully on the organization
- Personal—the way in which you develop and leverage your strengths and courage to enhance your personal credibility and impact

Why learn with us?
Our approach to executive education places you at the center. Before arriving, you’ll complete our custom HR leadership Ashridge Inventory of Management Skills (AIMS) 360° evaluation. This helps identify your own strengths and weaknesses, and also allows managers, peers, and direct reports to provide feedback on you. Using this data, you’ll partner with an executive coach 1:1 during two sessions to maximize the individual and organizational impact of the course. This immersive course includes interactive sessions with two leading blue chip organizations’ HR thought leaders, sharing innovative new approaches to talent, leadership, and performance management. As well as, simulations that bring trained actors into the classroom to push you out of your comfort zone. Before leaving, you’ll partner with a coach to create an action plan based on solving a real workplace challenge. Post-course, you’ll complete a final project related to this problem, and earn a Certificate of Application for it. We support the experimentation with new skills through a peer action learning virtual session about four weeks post-program, adding further value to your professional development.
