About the course

Middle East volatility continues to roil U.S. foreign policy. Consider, for example, the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, Syrian civil war and ISIS. New dynamics are influencing American engagement in the region. But is the United States reacting to or actually shaping events? Examine the security, economic and political issues that define U.S. policy in the region.
