About the course
This half-day seminar will help you gain a working knowledge of how managers use financial information to make better business decisions. It will demystify financial statements and a variety of financial and accounting tools, giving you an increased understanding of how these concepts can be used in measurement, evaluation and decision-making. It will help you to understand and interpret data from financial reports, including the 10K, balance sheets, income statements, statement of cash flows, budgets, and divisional performance reports to make better business decisions based upon this information. Using Excel modeling, the course will teach the analysis of historical performance of a company using ratio analysis and financial forecasting.
