In this one-day executive course from Kelley, you will train in the verbal and non-verbal behaviors that can build your professional persona and enhance your executive presence.

Do you know how to exude confidence and warmth when you walk into a meeting?

In a survey of CIOs by Gartner, executive presence ranked second on the list of top 20 leadership skills. And yet, there’s something elusive about executive presence.

We know it when we see it, but can we define it? And more important, is it attainable to anyone?

The misconception about executive presence is that it’s something natural leaders are born with. In truth, it’s something that must be curated and practiced. It’s an understanding of verbal and non-verbal behaviors, an exercise in personal branding, and an ongoing practice of honest self-assessment.

Learn the secret to executive presence

In this one-day course you will develop the skills you need to be perceived as the leader you are. You will identify, practice, and train in the verbal and non-verbal behaviors that can build your professional persona, enhance your authenticity, and increase your gravitas.

In the morning session you will be introduced to the non-verbal cues that shape perception, including posture and stance, hand gestures, facial expressions, attire, and personal touches. In the afternoon you will focus on showing empathy, listening attentively, and speaking with energy and passion.

By the end of the day, you’ll be on a path toward sharpening your skills and practicing them in situations that are familiar and new so that you can be persuasive and promotable.
