Who should attend

This workshop is ideal for nyone who deals with other people on their job, whether in an entry-level position or while managing or supervising others.

About the course

Have you ever seen someone “fly off the handle” at work and thought poorly of them because of their behavior? Has that person ever been you? There’s no doubt emotions are what drive our actions and are important and necessary in the workplace, but the success of an individual is contingent on them being aware of their own emotions, recognizing them, managing them, and channeling them into productive behavior as opposed to destructive tendencies. This workshop explores a concept that has been studied by psychologists for decades and has since gained recognition and acceptance by today’s foremost business leaders as a crucial skill set.

Key Benefits

Participants will be able to demonstrate:

  • An awareness of their own senses, feelings and reactions, intentions, actions, and behaviors
  • Understanding of how they judge and appraise their own performance as well as the performance of others based on how emotions are expressed
  • Identification of how and when emotions are and are not productive in the workplace
  • Options to employ instead of surrendering to the same repeated, knee-jerk reactions and behaviors
  • Recognition of what they really want from a situation so they can achieve their true goals and not sabotage themselves
