Understanding data security is essential for those who work in the media industry. This course examines cybersecurity strategies that media organizations and individuals should implement to safeguard themselves from internal and external threats. Participants will engage in labs, which will explain and demonstrate the five phases of hacking; showcasing methods of attack and demonstrating proven defense tactics; as well as learning how to create a personal security plan, to secure communications, and how to manage risk.
