Who should attend
This programme is designed for internal managers, Human Resources and Learning and Development professionals, as well as freelance/independent coaches looking to move into business coaching or anyone exploring this career option.
About the course
Over the course of this three-module programme, participants are equipped with the skills to coach professionally and ethically within an organisation, and to disseminate this cultural coaching style at managerial level through to teams.
At the core of this programme is cultivating a coaching ability with the objective of using coaching to raise the organisation’s performance by increasing productivity and shaping a more emotionally intelligent culture to promote long term, sustainable growth.
The three modules are deliberately spaced several months apart. This gives delegates the opportunity to coach others in the workplace and reflect on their work in modules 2 and 3. Coupled with supervision, this enables us to work with delegates to ensure both delegates and organisations achieve maximum results from the learning experience.
The three modules are:
- The foundations for effective business coaching
This module covers areas such as knowledge, skills and behaviours for effective coaching; and barriers to coaching and strategies to overcome these.
- Developing your coaching skills and practice
This module covers areas such as developing self-awareness and raising awareness in the client; and the influence of psychology and emotions in coaching.
- Fulfilling the role of the coaching in a business/organisational context
This module covers areas such as contracting and managing the relationship; and coaching with integrity in the organisation context.
