About the course
Your success depends on you and your team. This is why building and sustaining a high-performing team is necessary in any type of organization. In this course, you will learn new tools and techniques that can be readily applied to your current team to immediately increase performance—from the early stages of team member selection and team kickoff to the ongoing challenges of team communication and change in scope and membership.
The course is designed to use your personal case study to feed highly interactive small- and large-group exercises and discussions. The exploration will begin with the clarification of the team’s charter and the characteristics that make up a winning team. This will direct us into the approaches to team member selection, kickoff, and the establishment of a subculture. From there we will focus on the operational cadence for the team, including ground rules, process and tools, and metrics, as well as meeting and reporting methodology. Using a capstone case study, we will dissect, analyze, and recommend solutions to address a globally established organization struggling to meet its corporate goals. Finally, team evolution, transition, and closure will be addressed. The goal is to cultivate high performance to assure individual, team, and organizational goals are met.
