Business acumen is the ability to understand and interpret business situations and deal with them effectively towards positive outcomes such as growth and profitability. This programme will cover the essential areas for managers to understand and interpret business issues effectively and enable them to use their understanding to take better business initiatives.

It covers macroeconomic perspectives, stakeholder issues and deciphering competitors to understand the external environment of business for strategic thinking and business planning. It also covers design thinking and value analysis for internal development of user centered business innovations that give competitive advantage and enhance business profitability.

Participants are requested to arrive by evening on the previous day as sessions in this program are scheduled to start at 9.00 am on day one and will end at 5.00 pm on day five. There will be five sessions of 75 minutes duration each day. Participants may plan to leave only after 5.00 p.m. on the fifth day. Please do not book your return flights scheduled to depart earlier than 8.30 pm on the fifth day as it takes about two hours to reach the airport.
