Through a combination of instruction and hands-on practice, you will gain a basic understanding of big data and its uses from award-winning Kelley School of Business professors who are experts in the field. You will come to understand the big data environment, learn data analytics tools and techniques, and discover the most effective ways to prepare and frame analytics initiatives. You will also get an opportunity with work with several key programs and resources used in the field, including SQL, Hive QL, Tableau, RStudio, SPSS Modeler, and Python.
